Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CMP LETION of a £.70,000 modernization programme was announced last week by Hertz Truck Rental Division, the money having been devoted principally to re-equipping the two main depots at 289 Merton Road, London SW18, and at Drummond Crescent, Euston, NW1.

The huge Merton Road garage was the property of United Service Transport Co. Ltd. until this company was acquired by Hertz in May last year.

United Service Transport Co. still holds the carriers' licences used by this Hertz division, but UST has been trading under the Hertz Truck Rental name since early this year.

The well-established long-term contract hire business has been maintained and expanded (notably for such customers as

13eaverbrook Newspapers, and Bass, Mitchells and Butlers) but van and truck rental on a short-term basis is being expanded rapidly, too.
