Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

1"1-IE first two Lines luxury coaches I (originally known as the Crellin Duplex) to be purchased by an operator, were demonstrated in Birmingham last week. So soon as the Minister of Transport has ratified the draft regulations relating to passenger vehicles with half-decks, the coaches will be engaged on tours and express-carriage services run by Allenways, Ltd., Birmingham.

The Lines is 27 ft. long and conforms to the regulations for double-deckers. A seating capacity for 43 passengers is provided; a similar body with a length of 30 ft. could be built to carry 53 pas sengers. The height of the Lines is 10 ft. 7 ins, and its tilt angle, as tested by the M.O.T., is 41 degrees. The prototype was fully described in the September 3 issue of "The Commercial Motor" and the production model is similar, with the exception of the seats of the rear raised section. The saloon is now "fully streamlined" and the seating capacity has been reduced from 46 to 43. It is understood that the vehicle weighs about 1ton more than the normal type of coach fitted with a 32-seater body. The bodies are mounted on Foden 'single-decker chassis powered, by the six-eylindered two-stroke oil engine. A report on the test of this chassis appeared in the October 28 issue of "The Commercial Motor." The Lines Trailer Co., Ltd., Scunthorpe, built the coaches.
