Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Nissan has facelifted its 3. 3-tonne GVW Cabstar chassis cab, which also gains a more powerful diesel engine, less than a month after carrying out the same exercise on its Urvan panel van (CM 11-18 June).

The diesel Cabstar is now powered by the higher compression ratio 2.3 litre indirect-injection engine which produces 52kW (69hp) at 4,300 rpm — an improvement of 4% over the old engine. Peak torque from the new uprated engine is 153Nm (2071bft), delivered at a higher 2,200rpm.

Petrol-engined Cabstars have the 67kW (90hp) 2 litre Nissan unit which provides 8% more power, but with the same torque, at the same revs, Like the Unran, the latest Cabstar has a restyled grille and revised interior trim. Headlights are now halogen units. Nissan has also improved the Cabstar's anti-corrosion treatment. The vehicles can also be supplied with a factoryfitted dropside body.

Prices for the Cabstar range have been increased (see Operators Handbook, page 24).
