THE revised 49th edition of "The Commercial Motor" Tables of Operating Costs is now available through newsagents, price 5s., or from the London office of this journal, price 5s. 7d. postage paid. These new tables are based on costs prevailing on June 9, 1965, and include substantial additions to several items. A description and examples are given on pages 74, 75 and 76 of this issue.
The new edition of this standard work on operating costs is particularly topical following the recent report of the National Board for Prices and Incomes on road haulage rates and the comments made therein on operating costs.
