Welcome to Laurie Dealer's used truck of the week. Each week our man inside the used truck trade picks out a truck or trailer from CM's online classified list. This week it's a new-generation Actros GigaSpace
This week's best used truck is a 2012-registered new-generation Mercedes-Benz GigaSpace 2545 tractor.
This truck was originally part of the Mercedes demonstration fleet, so it is specified to the hilt to give operators a chance to see a host of different options in situ.
Under the GigaSpace flat-floor cab is the 12.8-litre Euro-5 engine delivering 450hp and 2,200Nm of torque, and the truck is fitted with the Powershift3 transmission. Wider specification is extensive, so it's worth highlighting just a few: Styleline interior, fridge under bottom bunk, brushed alloy dash area and Fleetboard vehicle analysis system. Externally it has a Fontaine sliding fifth wheel, alloy wheels, full catwalk, colour-coded
full grille and the illuminated Mercedes star on the front. So far it has clocked up 153,000km, still has some of its original service package to run, and has more than 12 months of manufacturer's warranty left. Mertrux Used Commercials is
