Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

II Police are hunting six masked men who forced a truck driver to jump from his cab before stealing his load of DVDs and computer games.

The incident happened at around 7.30am last Monday (6 January) in Slough. As the driver of the blue Scania truck pulled out of the Colne Industrial Estate in Colnbrook, his exit was blocked by the gang's white van. The hijackers approached the cab and, feeling intimidated, the driver jumped from his vehicle to escape.

The robbers then drove the truck to a nearby street, where they separated the trailer from the tractor and attached it to another before driving off. The blue tractor was later recovered.

DS Kevin Bishop of Slough CID says: "Although he was not physically hurt, the driver of the lorry was treated in hospital for shock. The incident happened very quickly, but it is a busy junction and there was a lot of traffic in the area at the time. If anyone saw the hijackers, the vehicles involved, or if they are offered computer games and DVDs for sale, they should contact me." The insurance company involved is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to the recovery of the stolen property • Contact: Slough CID on 01753 506198 or Crknestoppers on 0800 556111 • Drivers are warned to be on the lookout for a MercedesBenz Sprinter van being used by diesel thieves who target commercial vehicles parked up in truckstops.

An Irish driver, who prefers not to be named, contacted CM after spotting three men stealing fuel from two trucks parked at South Mimms truckstop on the AVM25 interchange on New Year's day "I was sitting in my cab watching TV when I noticed a white van pull into the truck area and drive slowly around. It eventually parked between two units and three men got out and proceeded to take a pipe out from the van and use it to suck the fuel out of the two vehicles. I was going to get out and have a word with them, but the fact that I was on my own and there were three of them persuaded me it wasn't a good idea," he says.
