• Hundreds of Lynx Express drivers and warehouse staff are being balloted on a new pay offer, more than a year after negotiations between management and unions first began.
The revised offer is worth 6% back-dated to September with a further 1% being added this October.
Mick Cash, assistant general secretary of the RMT union, which represents 600 lynx employees, is urging them to accept the deal which will ii tially increase hourly rates fi class 1 drivers from £5.84 £7.58, and from £7,90 to £9.1 for night drivers.
A loyalty bonus wor between one and three day pay, depending on length of se vice, is also included.
