its Slamlock range with the introduction of a new heavy duty version of its Freightlock which has been designed specifically for semi-trailer and rigid barn doors.
The Barn Door Freightlock is intended to operate every time a vehicle or trailer barn door is slammed closed, making it virtually impossible to leave a vehicle load area unlocked and unprotected.
The Barn Door Freightlock is operated by the vehicle's air supply and is manufactured from stainless steel precision components which are specified to withstand severe weather and tough operating conditions. The unit is available with Maple's high-security key systems including Kaba, Assa, Mul-t-lock and Bestiock.
An audit trail can be provided using Proximity control, with senior company staff having controlled access. The lock can also be controlled remotely via a GPS satellite link should the driver be unable to activate it.
