Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The British Embassy in Athens is advising hauliers to avoid Greece over the next few weeks because farmers are threatening to resume their blockades.

It is believed that 20 January is the proposed date for the resumption of blockades, although accurate information is elusive. The earlier blockades brought the country to a standstill before Christmas.

Up to 100 British hauliers, most of whom were going through the country to and from Turkey, were caught up in action by the farmers last year. The roadLocks were mounted at strategic points across the country by the farmers to protest about their falling incomes.

Most operators assumed the strike had fizzled out, but it now appears to have been a simple halt in the action for Christmas and the New Year.
