• Waterfront Conferences has organised a one-day conference to discuss the impact of increased lorry weight capacity in the UK. It will be held at the Marriott Hotel, London on 6 February. Speakers include Luc Werring of the European Commission and James Fells, head of road haulage at the Department of Transport. Cost £528 or £411 for CIT members and delegates from local authorities.
