• Ford has introduced the award-wining Barrier Deadlock security system into its aftermarket security range for the Transit. The system locks the gear selector linkage in reverse and is operated by a transmission tunnel-mounted push button. A high security key, unique to each vehicle, releases it.
Other security features from Ford for Transits and Escorts include the Lockshield steering clamp, rear window grilles, lockable storage boxes and a high security steering wheel lock.
