• East London vehicle recovery operator Leytonstone Motors has taken the first Whitacrebuilt crew-cabbed Isuzu NPR for its rescue service.
Worldwide Recovery Systems extended the 6.2-Milner's chassis by 1.0m and added a Holmes Midget aluminium slide-bed body with PTO-driven hydraulic winch. The crewcab, with its 125mm higher roofline, seats five passengers but still tilts hydraulically.
D lsuzu Truck UK expects to have a prototype 150hp 7.5tonne chassis cab ready in time for the IRTE exhibition at Telford in May.
