Glossop buyer • A buyer is being sought for Glossop Motors, the Derbyshire-based haulage contractor which operates a fleet of over 20 trucks and recovery and engineering services.
Red success • London's Red Route pilot scheme, launched a year ago, has been a success, claims the Department of Transport, with journeys cut by 25%, vehicle flows up 11% and accidents down 33%.
But the FTA slams the whole scheme as "just another level of enforcement" on road hauliers.
