An operational team has been appointed at Schmitz Thermostar, the refrigerated trailer manufacturer created following Schmitz's acquisition of York Thermostar.
Jim O'Connor, the former head of Thermostar, becomes managing director of Schmitz Thermostar. Keith Howard, former York Trailer UK sales director, has been appointed sales director.
Other former York Trailer staff include Fran Pickering, responsible for sales in the North and Scotland; Mark Higgs, covering the South-West; and Stuart Robinett for the South-East.
