French lights
• Valeo, the French components manufacturer, is selling truck lighting to UK truck operators for the first time. Its range of rear lamps, front flashers, side markers and cab lamps are unusual in having single pressings for clusters. This avoids failures of individual lenses in clusters, which can shake loose through vibrations, Valeo says.

• The Pesci range of hydraulic truck loaders includes 10 new models, with capacities from 1.5 to six tonnes per metre. The prices of the cranes, which are designed for vehicles from 3.5 to 13 tonnes GVW, range from £4,000 to £30,000 (ex-VAT).
