Rebuilt fork-lift trucks of Most European makes are now available from Reddey Mechanical Handling. Known as Red-EStack rebuilds, they offer a choice of LPG, diesel or electric power in both pedestriancontrolled or ride-on form.
Only trucks less than eight years old are chosen for rebuild and they are given a six-month, 1,000hr warranty. Reddey says that the trucks are 60 per cent cheaper than equivalent new vehicles. They have capacities ranging from 1,160kg (20cwt) to 5,800kg (100cwt) with either counterbalanced or reach masts. A container loading attachment, the Satellite, is also available, which allows remote control operation.
Reddey stocks 100 rebuilt trucks at its Feltham works, and non standard equipment can be supplied within four weeks.
