THE new boss of BRS Overland Ltd is Ron Fortune. He has taken on the additional responsibility for this new company along with his job as managing director of North Eastern BRS.
In his new role Mr Fortune succeeds David White, former managing director of Eastern BRS, whose appointment as BRS Group co-ordinator was announced last week (CM, Jan 9).
BRS Overland is the recently formed company set up to operate a regular 7,600 miles round trip service to Iran using ten specially designed Leyland Marathons.
Although the Overland operation is based at Northampton, Mr Fortune will continue to work from the North Eastern BRS Headquarters in Harrogate.
Anglo Balkan Carriers Forwarding Ltd has a new general manager. He is Brian Boreham who was formerly a director of James Kemball Ltd.
