• Twenty haulage firms on Tees-side have formed the Tees-side Transport Training Association to train drivers at a new centre set up at Haverton Hill. The chairman of the organization is Mr Arthur Hamilton, who is also chairman of the Tees-side branch of the RHA. The centre is expected to be operative from the end of this month.
