Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TRUCKPOL IS unlikely to be merged with Heathrow crime unit Operation Grafton. say police, but the future of the truck-crime unit is uncertain.

Plans to merge Truckpol with another division were discussed at this month's meeting of the Joint Action Group On Lorry Theft (JAGOLT). It had been suggested that the unit would link up with Operation Grafton or join the Organised Crime Agency to be launched in April.

But Truckpol's Detective Sergeant Mark Hooper says both scenarios now seem unlikely. He adds that the Current funding model, which involves an aspect of sponsorship from the private sector, remains attractive.

JAGOLT postponed making a decision on the unit's future.
