What got you started in transport? WI ;eft rviy ex-husband lett me on Fry 40th birthday with everything that ate (children, cats, dogs, goldfish and woodworm) I went to work as Fleet Admin Manager for a Fordilveco dealer and fell in love with trucks. I left as group fleet director.
What do you love/hate about it? I love it all hat, above ail, I really treasure the deep friendships I have made in my career.
What's your poison?
Sadly, I have too many poisons. The major one is nicotine and I simply cannot kick my 40 a day habit any suggestions?
How do you relax?
I love to cook, so my relaxation normally centres around food, good friends and alcohol!
What was the last CD you bought? The latest II Divo I love Mediterranean music and wt-len it's sung by tour beautiful young men what more could a middle-aged woman want?
Football man s game or over hyped nonsense?
Both' I nave no problem with most men's obsession with football. However, when people are paid ElOOK per weekwhen half the world is starving that blows my mind.
Is your heart North or South? I'm a South-East Londoner so I guess my roots are southern based, However, I am a bit of a cultural chameleon and seem to love and adapt to anywhere I am in the world For example, my Spanish friends swear I have Spanish roots, my Italian friends say I'm really Italian So far, the Japanese do riot claim me as one of their own but even they call me Hende Gaijinn: strange foreigner!
If you ruled the world what's the first thing you'd change?
I would re-instate the death penalty for driving too close to the vehicle in front and ban designer labels, freeing up money to feed the hungry Whet makes you happiest In life? Having healthy, happy children and watching lsuzu gradually earning a reputation as an organisation that lives and breathes customer care
