IT'S ALL CHANGE at municipal equipment specialist Trio following the recent demise of most of the Trio Group.
Three limited companies -Trio Group Sales, Trio Design & Engineering and Trio Spares & Service were recently placed in administration.
A fourth company, Trio Hire Direct, is unaffected, it continues to trade in the short-term and lone-term rental of municipal vehicles and equipment.The firm is based in Milton Keynes. "Political interference in the recycling market and subsequent failing in anticipated growth" has been cited as a contributory factor in the failures.
The skip-loader and hookloader parts of the group have now been bought from the administrators and restructured as Trio Skips and Hooks Ltd.
The new company is an agent for the Telehoist and MacLift brands: it will focus totally on sales and service from its base in Gloucester.
