Frozen food firm Birds Eye has been put up for sale by its parent company Un ilever. This is threatening the future of factories in Lowestoft. Suffolk and I lull. East Yorks.
Celsius First services the Hull factory from its Midlands cold store at Hams Hall, and carries goods including Birds Eye's signature fish fingers and peas.
Geoff I 'erring, contract general manager at the Hams Hall warehouse, says: The Unilever contract is a fairly big one for us and for the moment we're just carryi with the work as usual.
"Not every part of the hi is affected we also carry I. er's ice cream, for exampli we're waiting to see what just like everybody else."
