A NEW RANGE of ply-met panel doors for containers an vehicles is now being mat keted in this country b Thomas Sim son and Co Ltd c Oxted, Surrey.

The doors are made i Finland by Saastamoine Yhtyma Oy and are claime not to suffer from the commo problem of poor bonding of th plywood and metal.

The standard panel is mad from 17-ply Finnish birch ir tenor WBP (water and bo proof) plywood 25mm (hr thick to which the 0.6mr galvanised steel faces ar bonded with an exterior ac hesive.

Each face is precoated wit 35 microns of primer and to coat white paint. °the specifications, using ur painted aluminium or gre primed steel faces, are avai able.

In order to meet Australia quarantine regulations th panels would have to b treated with a preservative.
