k NEW SEMI-TRAILER tanker with extra safety features has ntered service with Rechem/Biffa, the waste disposal cornany.
Made by Fergussons of Portsmouth, the "super-safe" tanker is nounted on Fromant double-axle running gear and can carry a vide range of inflammable waste liquids or sludge and almost very known acid. The 4,500 gallon tank is made from 3/16 inch tainless steel with stiffening rings for full overturn protection. An electric start diesel engine is fitted beneath the tank and )perates the compressor/exhauster which is equipped with a lame trap and spark arrester.
