Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FIRST eight-wheel rigid 30-ton Bedford TM has been built by means of a fourth-axle conversion.

The conversion work was done by the Primrose Third Axle Co of Blackburn on the R-registered Bedford TM2600 of Erewash Garage, Elston, Notts. It was previously a 24-ton-gross sixwheeled tipper, but the fourth axle puts the payload up by more than five tons. The chassis weight has gone up by only 17cwt.

The extra axle is a second steering axle fitted 1.9m (6ft 3ins) behind the original steering axle.

The tipper body is a 6.5m (21ft) long Neville-Charrold Ultralite steel body equipped with Edbro single-ram tipping gear.
