• The Scotts Group has opened a new depot at Longcroft, Stirlingshire, for the sales and service of heavy commercial vehicles in Scotland. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr I. van der Putt, of DAF, Holland. Under the name of Scotts Engineering Services, the depot will operate a DAF franchise for Scotland.
The• modernized building carries spares covering the complete DAF range, Cummins, ZF, Kirkstall, David Brown and other commercial vehicle parts, available daily from 8 am to 9 pm. A spares /sales van will operate throughout Scotland calling regularly on customers.
