Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

by Tony Wilding

The prospects of a link between Krupp and a non-German Manufacturer have been dashed by the news that Krupp is to cease vehicle manufacture from July 1 this year and that Daimler-Benz is to buy its 16 service depots in Germany.

It is reported that the Krupp vehicle division has lost 100m. D.marks (over £10m.) in the past four years and there is a suggestion that the W. German Government has played a part in the deal with Daimler-Benz. Future plans for the Krupp manufacturing organization are not yet decided.
