Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

It's been a hell of a year for the used truck sector, and all the signs are that the boom will continue into 2005.

Across the used vehicle industry business has been as good as anyone can remember.

More second-hand vans and trucks are changing hands and, thanks to a thriving export market, the quality of goods on offer domestically is as high as the unparalleled level of demand.

Trade and auctions enjoyed a strong finish last year but few pundits would have predicted that this trend would maintain its pace through the following 12 months.

Auction stock levels are rising, boosting the export sector, and exporters are buying younger stock, allowing domestic traders to concentrate on good quality vehicles for their own forecourts. Affiliated and independent dealers have done well, with tractors fitted with big cabs and big engines much in demand.

As CM treks across the country we are continually surprised by the upbeat, confident attitude we find in the trade.Against a backdrop of faltering businesses and company closures the used truck trade continues to prosper. si
