Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• An agency driver working out of the John Dee's Rotherham distribution centre has foiled an attempt to hijack his consignment of beer by throwing away his keys.

Mike Pullen had stopped at junction 36 on the M1 near Barnsley to check his route to

Llandudno when someone tapped on the window saying he had a flat tyre. As he climbed out of his cab to investigate a second man appeared. Pullen sensed danger and threw the keys on to an embankment—he was hit over the head twice and left unconscious. A spokesman for John Dee says: "It was an extremely courageous act and very spontaneous. We will be letting him know what a good job he did for us and the customer."

Barnsley police say they are currently investigating the incident.
