[2843] (Owner).—Further in reply to query No. 2828, if the man made any false representation to you, you have introduced a new factor.If you are in no position to get in touch with his customer, except through him, you cannot claim that this potential customer was aware of your advertisement. Of course, we do not know the relations between the potential customer and the man who introduced him to you. The whole facts may even not be known to you. The subject of introductory commissions is always a thorny one. If you know that the principal did see the advertisement himself, of his own initiative, it merely introduces another factor.
