FORD IS OFFERING its fleet customers an online risk-management programme designed to help them comply with their duty-of-care staff commitments and to reduce vehicle running costs.
Available to any driver within a mixed fleet, as long as at least some of the vehicles are Fords, the subsidised initiative features a fixed price per person regardless of the level of training needed.
Operated by risk-management company Drive & Survive, the programme requires all drivers to complete an online assessment; those rated as a low risk will require no further action, while individuals in the medium category will be recommended for the online e-learning course. High-risk drivers will be put forward for practical on-road driver tuition.
