• World Champion truck puller Jamie Reeves, who also holds the World's Strongest Man title, pulls a fully-loaded car transporter weighing 35 tonnes, bearing the BICEP number plate which was recently sold at auction for £4,000.
It was part of a sale organised by Central Motor Auction's Preston site last month, where £1.5m was raised in just six hours from the sale of 300 registration plates from the Driver and Vehicle. Licensing Authority's Classic Collection.
The top-selling plate was FAX IT, which went for 230,000.
CMA has now raised £5m from the two DVLA Classic Collection number plate sales it has held at Harrogate and Preston, and has just announced the date and venue for the next one — Harrogate, 3-4 September.
