• Containerlift of Dunmow, Essex, is the European agent for the Steelbro Sidelift, a demountable box aimed at companies in the household removal trade.
Although on the market in New Zealand for three years, it is new to the UK.
Containerlift claims the box, also known as the Mini Sidelifter, will save removal firms money, allowing a seven metre container to be loaded at the customer's house, taking four to six hours, but avoiding the cost of a waiting truck at 215 per hour. The Sidelifter costs 226,000 and at an average of six deliveries daily, Containerlift claims it will pay for itself in less than a year.
