Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Brighton Council is planning to ban all lorries over 7.5 tonnes from parking along the sea front, a favourite parking place for truckers.

The Council is responding to complaints by traders working along the seafront who claim that the parked lorries are affecting their businesses.

An order by the Council, proposing the parking ban on Madeira Drive, is due for consideration later this month by the Council's traffic sub-committee. If the sub-committee gives the go-ahead the ban could be in operation from the start of next month.

The Council has no plans ' to provide alternative parking facilities for lorries, despite calls from operators for a lorry park.
