• In preparation for bus deregulation, Gordon Mills has been made engineering manager of Grampian Regional Transport.
Mills has spent the past 14 years in public transport, and was last with Eastbourne Borough 'Council Transport.
His appointment completes the new senior management team at Grampian. Moir Lockhead is general manager, Colin Smith is operations manager and Robert Duncan is financial I anager.
Iii Frank Tabram has been appointed commercial manager at AMG Freight Services at Oldbury, West Midlands.
Tabram has already spent eight years with AMG in European trader operations.
• John Moore, Secretary of State for Transport, has nominated Michael Bradrick to be a member of the Special Panel of the Transport Tribunal.
Called to the bar in 1965, Brodrick was appointed a: recorder in 1981 and was a member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the senate between 1980 and 1983.
• Fyffes Group, the importer and distributor of fruit, and vegetables, has taken on ex-Greater Lon don Council transport officer Paul Fenech as group transport manager.
He is responsible for the maintenance of 180 lorries and 90 company cars throughout Fyffes Group's 32 locations within the 1.1K, as well as making sure of cost effective and reliable transport.
• Aubrey Martin has joined Ensign Bus and Coach Sales of Purfleet as managing director. Ile was previously marketing:director with the Moseley Group of Loughborough, with responsibility for bringing Bova coaches to the UK market. Before that. he was bus and coach manager for Dal in the UK.
