THE LAST dinner and dance to be held by the Passenger Vehicle Operators Association before the formation of the Confederation of British Road Passenger Transport will take place in London next month. The venue is the Connaught Rooms and the date is September 23. Tickets are £6.50 each. A EUROPEAN highway code entitled European rules concerning road traffic, signs and signals, has just 'been published by the European Conference of Ministers of Transport. It is available through WA Stationery Office, priced £1.60.
This edition, which replaces the 1972 version, contains road traffic rules and regulations concerning road signs and signals. It is not, however, a legal instrument.
