Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

with Ron Cater Even although we're at the height of the summer holiday season, now is the time to take stock of our heating requirements: don't wait till the cold weather starts and heating engineers are overloaded with orders. Remember that as with other workshop equipment, the value of a heating system is never sufficiently appreciated until it fails. Also if heating fails over too long a time it could result in good men seeking other jobs!

So it's well worthwhile looking at a plant maintenance agreement drawn up by Industrial Thermal Services Ltd., of Hill House, Hill Avenue, Amersham, Bucks (Tel: Amersham 5606), which has been specially designed for garages and vehicle repair depots.

The agreement covers the servicing of all heat exchange plant installed in such premises, including warm air space-heaters, general hot water services, steam degreasingbooths and the like. It provides for two routine inspection service calls, made by ITS engineers during normal operating times, and a further visit on a mutually agreed shut-down date for a thorough plant overhaul. Customers receive these three visits in any one year, although more frequent visits can be handled by arrangement.

In addition, ITS operates a 24-hour emergency service from its head office in Amersham and branch offices in London, Glasgow, Bradford, Stockport, Bromsgrove (Worcs) and Cardiff. These facilities are available to all users of heat exchange plant.

Transport people are fond of saying that transport should be left to the experts—perhaps it is true also of the heating equipment industry.
