• An application by T. Fletcher and Son, Loftus, Yorkshire, to run an express service between Loftus and a factory at Middlesbrough, for the factory employees has been refused by the Northern area LA, but United Automobile Services Ltd., has been given permission to vary its licence to operate the service.
The LA rejected Fletcher's application on the ground that with the United proposal, the service would be adequate.
