• Quay Trailers Ltd. of Wimborne, Dorset has introduced a steel-bodied tipper specially designed for the removal of coal-tip material.
The semi-trailer tippers have a 22 in. deep by 6 in. wide I-section main frame carrying heavy duty suspension and 22,500 lb. axles: 1000 x 20-16 ply tyres are specified as standard. The all-steel welded body has integral box section frames, in. sides and in. floor. Edbro tipping gear is fitted at the front. Face fitting. rubber sealed, top-hinged tailboards to facilitate load clearance and quick washing are features. The price is £1,990 ex works.
