proposed in an amendment to regulation 21A of the 1966 Construction and Use Regulations which the Minister of Transport has circulated for comment.

A cheaper test method, giving improved meter accuracy in use, has prompted this amendment: it is understood that meters complying with BS 3539: 1962 will have no difficulty in meeting the new requirements.
