• Only a month after the programme was announced all the places in the Furniture Removers Senior Management Course, to be held in November, have been filled.
Such has been the demand that even the comparatively high fee of £59 for the week's course has not discouraged applicants. One firm wanted six places—it only could be allotted one. Another course is planned for the third week of March 1969.
These courses (which are open to suitable directors and general managers in the removal trade) are administered by the Institute of the Furniture Warehousing and Removing Industry (IFVVRI) with the co-operation of the RTITB. Tutorial services are being provided by the Department of Management and Business Studies of Leicester Regional College of Technology.
