Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ULTI-FUEL engines have been M developed, from their 0M321, 0M315 and 0M326 units by DaimlerBenz A.G., Germany. They will run on normal petrols, super petrols, military grades of fuel and petrol-henzoie mixture, although the mixturecannot be used for starting. Other fuels which may be used are those for jet-propulsion units, engine kerosene, normal types of dery and lubri-cating oils.

Prof. Dr. Ing.h.c. Fritz Nallinger, a director and chief enaineer of the corn

party, observed that in their opinion this type of engine appeared to be justified for tactical purpose's only. It would hardly achieve any significant importance in the economic and commercial field, and the pure oil engine would continue to lead in commercial-vehicle applications.

Among Claims made for the engines, which have four valves and a central pre-chamber for each cylinder, are a low specific fuel consumption, easy starting and absence of Diesel knock.
