Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AFTER a five-hour hearing, the Northern Traffic Commissioners decided at Alnwick (Northumberland) to allow United Automobile Services, Ltd., and Messrs. T. Ord and Son to continue to use Alnwick .Market Place as a bus terminus. The chairman, Mr. J. A. T. Hanlon. said they would not be justified in asking the bus companies to make any change at present, but if substantial evidence could be given that the continued use of the Market Place caused inconvenience, another inquiry could be held.

Mr. J. L. R. Croft, for United, said the company were against the erection of a £14,000 bus station at Alnwick. They had intended building a station. but because of changed economic conditions, they were not prepared to go on with the scheme.
