YUGOSLAVIA is buying a large number of vehicles from Italy and Czechoslovakia. Altogether 317 vehicles and 80 trailers are to be imported from Italy for public transport.
Among 1,150 light Skoda vehicles to be purchased from Czechoslovakia will be vans and ambulances. Four huadred Sk oda 7-tonners and Praga 5-tonners are also to be purchased. Yugoslavia does not build 7-tonners, but 5-tanners are to be manufactured under licence from the German Magirus Deutz company in a factory in Slovenia.
