A resolution was passed protesting against the passing of further imposts and penalties by way of taxation on the road-haulage industry.
The metropolitan area of the Association has been holding sectional meetings in various parts of London, and recently a well-attended meeting was held in the southern district. At the time of writing a ballot is being taken for a representative of the area to serve upon the council.
