• A major auction of emergency vehicles will take place in London on Wednesday 22 April.
Auctioneer Marston Motor Auctions says it will be selling up to 160 fire tenders and 120 ambulances, on average eight years old with 40,000km on the clock. The ambulances include Bedford and Dodge 20-seaters
and Bedford TKs. Tottenhambased Marston says emergency vehicles have previously been auctioned in threes and fours, and claims this sale is the biggest yet.
Previews begin on 20 April, and Marston expects customers to include collectors as well as foreign buyers.
