Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN EXEMPTION certificate is now available from the Health and Safety Executive to permit the phrase "contact local depot" to be used on hazard warning panels on road tankers and tank containers.

Owing to a drafting error, it became law to have the words "consult local depot" on the tanker. Now both options are allowed, although a phone number can take their place on the back of the tanker if preferred.

The Exemption Certificate No. 1 of 1983 of the Dangerous Substances (Conveyance by Road in Road Tankers and Tank Containers) Regulations 1981 is available from the HSE at HSD A3, Room 10.14, 25 Chapel Street, London NW1 5DT.
