Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A PLEASANT surprise greeted Robert Smith when his £31 cheque for the CM/Road Transport Correspondence Course was returned with a congratulations slip for being the 1,000th student.

Mr Smith of Tadley, Basingstoke, Hampshire, has received the first part of the Goods National course and will be supplied with remaining sections free of charge at a later date.

He is employed as a driver for Oakhanger of Silchester, near Reading and has been with them for eight years. He was previously a self-employed driving instructor.

A FURTHER section of the M25 London orbital motorway between the M11 at Theydon Bois and the •A127 south of Brentwood will be opened on April 22 by Transport Secretary David Howell.

There will now be continuous dual carriageway from the north via the Al, A604 and M11 to the M25, which will take vehicles directly to the Dartford Tunnel and on to the Channel ports via the A2.
