Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DOES U4621 ring a bell with any of my centenarian readers? If it does, Terry Vasey, managing director of the Lewis Electric Group, Bell Street, Maidenhead, Berks, would like to know.

It was not the number of a German submarine but was the registration mark of a 1903 electric vehicle, the remains of which have been bought by the group for restoration by apprentices as part of their training. The make is unknown but the vehicle had four General Electric motors, one driving each wheel. It is thought to have been used at one time on road maintenance in Huddersfield.
