THE CENTRE for Extension Studies is holding a series of seminars on hazardous waste treatment and disposal, worker risks from noise exposure, and noide control and the protection of hearing at work.
The first course is on October 25-27 and is aimed at industrial or local government personnel. It will examine options for material recovery and disposal. The residential course costs 000.
The second seminar looks at the affects of an EEC Directive on noise coming into force by December 1984. The seminar will look at preventive action to be taken. The one day course will be held on November 7 and costs £65.
The third course looks at the noise directive for companies where noise is a problem. It costs £280, or £340 if taken in conjunction with the second course.
